Zurich, Switzerland, July 8, 2025 - We’re proud to announce that Interprefy is powering multilingual accessibility at this year’s 100th edition of the legendary Rolex Fastnet Race, helping fans and participants connect and engage — no matter the language.
Spanning a demanding 695-mile course from Cowes in the UK to Cherbourg-en-Cotentin, France, the Fastnet Race draws thousands of sailors and spectators from around the world. And this year they’ll be able to follow the race in their own language thanks to Interprefy’s Remote Simultaneous Interpretation, AI-powered speech translation and live captioning services.
We're making this iconic event more accessible than ever, with multilingual support throughout the race. That includes daily Fastnet Talks — series of podcasts and masterclasses running from July 25 to August 1 — where Interprefy ensures everyone can listen and learn in the language that speaks to them.

Our technology will support the race with:
Whether you're a sailor giving interviews or a fan following along at home, Interprefy makes it easy to understand and be understood.
As international events become more global in reach, fans expect to engage in their own language — live and without barriers. Sports organisers are increasingly prioritising multilingual fan experiences, not just to expand audiences but to foster inclusion, accessibility, and equity.
This growing trend reflects a broader movement in sport toward diversity — where language access is a key part of making events welcoming and participatory for all. For organisations, it's not just about compliance or optics; it's about creating meaningful connections across borders, cultures, and communities.
